As the countdown to Christmas begins, DoodleLearning by Discovery Education is excited to announce the return of The Winter Calendar – a popular challenge that encourages children to practise maths and English ‘little and often’ throughout December.
Using the award-winning DoodleMaths and DoodleEnglish apps, children can earn virtual rewards by opening a door on the Winter Calendar each day. Designed to encourage a few minutes of daily ‘Doodling’, the Winter Calendar is a great way to keep children motivated and engaged in learning this holiday season.
Between 1st December and 24th December, children can receive an exciting festive gift each day by completing at least one exercise a day and unlocking doors on their DoodleMaths and/or DoodleEnglish Calendar. In addition, children who open all of the doors will receive an extra special surprise to celebrate their hard work — a virtual Winter Calendar badge.
To take part, Doodle users simply need to log in to DoodleMaths orDoodleEnglish on 1st December 2024 and complete an exercise. The last day to unlock the Winter Calendar doors is 6th January 2025.
